The hellebore is affectionately referred to as the “Christmas rose” as its flowers are considered to resemble a small single rose flower. A member of the Ranunculaceae family, it is not actually a rose at all but we love the name nonetheless!
Considered a symbol of grace and compassion, it makes for a beautiful gift when in season. Hellebores are a short-stemmed flower variety and are best displayed in bud vases which allow them to express their individual personality.
